Issues with iptv66

up till an hour ago i was able to use different wifi to get my sub working now no matter what wifi i use i get urlopen error timed out i doubt that all my wifi connections were blocked so problem is on iptv end

I am getting the same problem first i was connected on the ethernet cable and then wifi getting URL issue and sometimes connection problem msg. and also my friends that have the same things as me... is there a problem with the IPTV. on the other thing i cannot login to the page to see the mac address look up its say please enter in 24-48 hrs.

New user here. Having the exact same problem with the Mac address...but finding they are hopeless at answering questions.

To be honest (not trying to be disrespectful) I used to have different provider and it was just plug and play. Once I entered the portal I was ready to go. The reseller help here is zero to none. This is great site with awesome people but ....

We don't support resellers here plus there is a lot of knowledgeable people here only some log in a certain times so yes you are being disrespectful along with the fact that we don't discuss other providers here in any form.

Well said theone, the support on this forum is second to none. Other "providers" offer zero support.
Some good knowledgeable people around...You just need to be polite and patient and give as much info as possible if you have a problem.

Is this always like this I purchased 3 days ago had no service then today I got it working for 5 mins and gone ya service is slow to respond and very poor think I'll look elsewhere

URLOPEN has to do with your ISP filter your traffic. The best way around it is a VPN solution.

Wickedjoker how do you know it's an ISP filter. My iks account had this same issue start last Saturday. I came home today and it's working fine. It's unlikely my ISP decided to unblock the traffic.

No but chances are you have a dynamic ip....Meaning your ip address changes itself roughly every 1- 2 weeks ( which is why your issue resolved itself) I had the url issue earlier today contacted my ISP had them force issue a new IP and I was good to go.

While some ISP's could be blocking IMO if its a ISP blocking we wouldn't be able to access the addon or load the channels in the pvr.

Since force issuing a new IP address worked I'm more leaning towards I did something to get my IP banned server side....Seems to me when originally logging into the addon or loading the channels in the pvr clients there isn't a "banned" IP check ( hense why the channels load in the channel manager or your able to access the channel categories via the addon ) Then on playback it looks for Blocked Ip's (Hense the URL timeout )

A little more info is needed. I should have been more detailed. I do have a dynamic IP, but the wan IP hasn't changed. I think the issue began after I ran an EPG that was scanning all the channels and loading them one by one. When I ran stalker IP checker 1.01 in kodi. It did show an IP address being blocked. It wasn't my IP address.

I am not sure if my ISP was blocking it or if iks was. I could load channels from Russia and other countries, but not the UK & USA. They resulted in the urlopen error. I still think it would be unlikely my ISP would remove the block.

Just trying to understand how this got resolved.

I have had this issue as well. When it happens to me, I simply re-boot my wifi router and all is good to go for a few days. I think it may have something to do with the device snagging an WLAN IP via DHCP (usually next available, IE 192.168.1.1, things will work), then the next time, after power off or going to a different wifi location, the device is then snagging a different WLAN IP (maybe 192.168.1.6), then the urlopen error issue starts.

This might also occur if using on more than one device, say the first device works, then trying on a second device that is using a different IP. I am not sure about all this, still testing, but from what I am finding out so far this is how I correct it, simply reboot wifi router....hope it helps..
