So I have been reading and reading and reading lol
I just ordered my first box, m18 just waiting for it to arrive
I will be joining roc%%ket
My box is coming preloaded with kodi 16
from what I have read I really like the nija epg/pvr setup,,, is this the link that can get me going from scratch http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?16461-PVR-Stalker-(Kodi-Built-in)-Set-up-tutorial ?
I am not quite sure though how once I make my mac address up how I go about assigning it to eg ro%%cket and what the steps are in the right order
I have played with kodi 15 already which I downloaded to my computer messing around and stuff, I loaded nija just to follow the steps, never did see a @repo in file manager but I think I loaded it ok
also watched a video where it showed a TV option on main screen which I don't see on mine,,, must be an addon???
anyway is there a how to from scratch on getting your code and registering and in what order?
there is so much info out there but to start with my main goal is only to get my box going with Ro%%cket and have a guide and pvr if possible
thanks for any help you can provide

Hey, not sure what you are after but the Guide data grabber is being worked on so it is kinda flakie at the moment. To get the Ninja repo installed go to http://**********/ At the bottom of the page click REPO and download the repository zip file. After you have the zip file open Kodi and select Settings>Add Ons>install from zip file and browse to where the zip file is and click it. Kodi will give a install confirmation message and return to the My Add Ons page. From the My Add Ons page select install from repositories and open ********** add-ons then Video add-ons and click IPTV STALKER PLUS.This add-on will allow you to connect to whatever service you have purchased.
Next from ********** add-ons repository select Services and click STALKER EPG UPDATER. You won't need the updater until after the Guide data has been fixed but can get all the channels from IPTV STALKER PLUS. To set it up you need your donation number and MAC. Go to Settings>add ons>My add ons>Video add ons>and click on IPTV STALKER PLUS. The Add on information page will open, at the bottom click configure. Click a server to set up(doesn't matter which) and the settings page will open. You can change the name if you want or leave it as is, next click the up/down arrows to select the server for the service you bought, then click MAC and enter your MAC then click done. Next click Login erase the X that is there and enter your donation number click done. Click Password erase the x put in your donation number and click done. Now turn on Send Device info and click OK. If you fail to click OK all the info will be lost and you'll have to start over. If you've not made a typo you should get access to the server
Lets watch TV get back to the main menu and go to Video addons then IPTV STALKER PLUS and open it. You should see the name of the server you chose to set up. Right click the name to open a context menu and click clear cache. Left click the name and click all and wait a couple minutes for your 900 channels to load then enjoy.

great read zdcyclops, thanks so much,, was wondering what is the difference form using iptv stalker plus and the built in pvr stalker that comes with kodi?
Is it that iptv stalker plus has video on demand ?

That is one difference. Kodi comes with many PVR clients which are designed to work with different content providers. In general the PVR clients are used to give you a tv guide, allow you to record channels, set timers so you don't miss shows etc. The functionality of the PVR is controlled by the content provider and by the author of the PVR client and by Kodi's ability to perform those functions . Some providers let you record some don't etc. IPTV STALKER PLUS has fewer functions it can connect to the providers servers and play all of the channels but has no PVR functions such as timers, recording or a guide. You can use add-ons such as Ivue TV Guide in conjunction with IPTV STALKER PLUS to obtain a guide and reminders etc.
