Can't connect (was What's the difference??)

When I got my Donations It said to use 00:1A:79 for MAC. All the How To info shows 00:1A:78. What gives ,Can anyone explain the difference. Obviously I cant get the Rocket to connect, This is an issue. Two weeks now No Authentication Help please,

79 is for set-top boxes like the AVOV and Mag. All else is 78.

Well here I am again, I can not get the Rocket to work I believe I have all the necessary info and downloads,Tried em all . I have Stalker , Stalker Pro, Emmulator,
I Tried ,00:1A: 78, 00:1A:79. http:11rocket , http://11.iptvrocket, http://portal.iptvrocket , .ending with .tv , stalker_portal/c/index.html
and without index.html . I've reset IPTV and changed the MAC several times. I put in donation numbers in both Login & Password . with and without serial # and ID #. I'm at my witts end . I'm running a MXQ Pro OTT box and tried my Android box ,both with no results. I had another private server and it worked perfect so I feel Rocket should also work .If I can't get any satisfaction I think I should be refunded my 80.00 dollars.But Papiao wont return my E-mail . Doe anyone have a solution to my hair rippin problem. Help please.

First, you don't have to work this alone. We do want you to read the how-to's posted in the stickied topics in the top of most of the subforums for the different add-ons and emulators, and if you follow those carefully, you won't be going through trying different 'rabbit holes'.

Second, you should pick one of those add-ons and get it going, vs. trying different ones. Since you can access the donation checker, your account is good, and you just need to configure your add-on properly. For now, I would recommend picking either the IPTV Stalker Plus 10.2.3, or the latest version of the PVR Stalker NFPS (20160510), as they are the easiest to configure. After you have properly linked a valid MAC (starting with 00:1A:78) to your donation/rocket number, follow the tutorials on how to set up either of the addons... not both. If you are still having issues, let us know, and someone will help.

If you have an issue, please start your own thread, and someone should help. The issue is usually configuration, not a server issue if you get a 'successful' return on changing a MAC or doing an IPTV Reset.

Thanks dara ,It was a fight but I finally got it running. I tried the stalker plus but that was a no go so I went back to stalker client , reset IPTV twice and it finally kicked in. Thanks again. Bye and bye the donation port was totally different from the other three given out. No wonder there is so much confusion. One more Rocket to set up,Wish me luck.
