MAG 254 OUT OF RANGE message

I am a new owner of a MAG254. I have it working beautifully and set up using a wifi dongle on a Sundstand TV. However, when I try to connect to my Sony Bravia TV, the introductory screen appears followed by "LOADING" then the screen goes blank followed by OUT OF RANGE message. I have rebooted both MAG 254 and TV to no avail, I have tried different HDMI inputs and the AV connectors. Has anyone any suggestions what I can try to get it to work with my Sony TV?

it means your tv does not support the video resolution/refreshrate that the mag outputs (though it should?!). try connect it back to the other tv and change the output resolution on the mag, then go back and try again on the bravia.

Thanks very much for your advice Tuxan, I am will probably not get a chance to look at it for the next couple of days, but I will give a try and let yo know how I get on.
