So here we are day three. Portal two is down once more. The administrators kindly informed everyone that the system was to be down on 4/25/16 during the time of 9:00 am to 7:00 pm eastern time. I was already prepared for this to be extended. When you are entering day three I believe it would be prudent for the principle owners to communicate with the members as to the status of the maintenance, repairs etc.
I really don't think this is request is unreasonable. If it is going to be another week, month just let us know.I believe you will at least reduce the amount of negative post. Communication is the key. Let the flaming begin:)!

Cruiser I totally agree they should post something on announcements its better than all the people post the channels that are down on the daily. good thing for me its not my main source of entertainment!
You might want to try a different portal url... you can change it in the donation checker. Server never was down during the maintenance period, only certain groups of channels were down. Even then, there may be current on-going issues with individual channels, which should be reported on the Channel Issues subforum.

Not mine either. It comes down to a matter of trust and respect and appreciation for your customers or in this case donators. I have been a donator since last year. I believe this is the third "maintenance session I have experienced. Each time has been not a good experience. How much time does it take for someone to update the status?

There isn't anything to report. The service is up, on-going channel maintenance can be assumed.

Thanks for the suggestion Dara but I have already attempted switching portals. Unforunately it won't allow me . I understand the server wasn't totally down during maintenance. I watched Sky and a few of the other channels. My point is we have no idea if the maintenance is still going on or not? If it is so be it and I will shut up. If it is done then all I can say is I don't believe they got the results that they hoped for.

I think constructive feedback using the appropriate subforums is good, as long as it isn't 'bashing'. No one, including the moderators, can do much about the quality seen, other than reporting it to be seen by the server people. Also, we don't know how much effort is going on, other than when we hear from tinieBlax, our admin, who does work with the server guys (but probably not the actual techs themsleves)

I understand the moderators are limited. I believe there are on this board members that appreciate all of the mods help me included. I will continue to report problems. Respectfully I say If others consider my statements to be bashing then so be it. If I cant express my feelings in a respectful way which I believe I have then this forum is not for me.
My criteria for 'bashing' is pretty high, but if someone is clearly over-exaggerating issues, or makes threats (like not renewing, or mentioning other services) it bears consideration for a 'vacation'. Bashing or insulting others is also actionable.
