Dana White reacts to controversial stoppage at UFC Fight Night 62
UFC president Dana White joined many fighters in outrage after a controversial stoppage awarded Leandro Silva a submission win at UFC Fight Night 62 on Saturday night.
Silva defeated Drew Dober via guillotine choke in the second round, but it appeared Dober didn't tap.
Now there is a guy who should NEVER ref again!!!!
Silva and Dober also had differing opinions of what transpired at the end of the fight.
"For me, he blacked out. A win is a win, and that is what I was looking for. I want to show to the UFC that I can be one of the best in my division, and I will prove it inside the octagon," Silva said after the fight.
"You train. You put your heart, your soul, you bleed, you cry, and the referee stops the fight for no reason. He said that I needed to tap three times, and I did not tap once," Dober said after the fight.
