Will it work with NFPS? Better than Mag 254? I am trying to make a decision to buy or not to buy because I got Email from Infomir saying that they are available as of today.

Yeah Im thinking the same bc said that IPTV needs to be compatible qith middleware 5.0 :/

I have same question, It works with Stalker Middleware 5.0 and above and is Not backward compatible. Need to know if its compatible with the 3 different IPTV services discussed here.

No, it is not. Middleware version is not supported yet.

yea model 256 alot more faster then 254 cause 1.5 processor and 254 only 600mhz and it work with nfps not sure

Update my mag 256 came today. I change mac address and portal but it wont load the blue screen with the loading bar :S

Infomir specifically says that the MAG 256 is only compatible with Stalker Middleware 5.0, and that you should check with your provider to see if it will work as it is not backwards compatible.

All 3 supported servers are on 4.9.22. So this shouldn't have been hard to figure out. However they did say software update for their maintenance but I haven't seen a middleware update yet.

When you load into the portal of the server with a MAG, in the bottom right corner you will see 2 types of number 4.9.22 is the Stalker Middleware version, and the 0.2.18 is the version of the Webkit.

So it will look like this 4.9.22 (0.2.18-rXX-2XX) the first set of XX refers to the firmware revision that is on your MAG, and the 2nd set of XX refers to your MAG model number.

Example for a MAG 254 that is fully updated on NFPS Server will look like this 4.9.22 (0.2.18-r14-254). Hope that was helpful :).
