Hello Every one, I am very new to IPTV concept. I have a laptop (linux). I read the thread and saw that i need a STB; probably to enter portal information (server information). Since I do not have television, there is no point to buy a STB. Also i tried installing KODI in my laptop, I was completely lost and was very laggy, I do not want to go that route. I want to keep everything simple and want to know if it is possible to use NFPS service in VLC. I didn't see anything about VLC in the threads. I know it works if i can get m3u playlist and if NFPS server can verify the mac address of my laptop. If it does not work, advice me if there are services i can use to get m3u playlist (paid service) directly without buying STB.

Thank you for reading the post.

No. There is no m3u for the service. You can create a served list but you need to run Kodi.
