Yes, you can add your own channels on a Mag 254 in the inner portal. Maybe you should be more knowledgeable before you "lol".

I have a Mag250,and I have 42 sport channels right now.
From which Sport channels # 6-8-13-14-24 are not working at all right now,and Sport channels 26-27-28-29 are working but the picture quality is terrible.
The rest are working fine on my side.

Yep same problem over here also.
Unfortunately this is one of the problems which is very common with the Stalker system.
From what I was told it can only handle about a max of 500 or 5000(?) viewers at the same time on one channel.
So whenever there is an event with a high viewer demand you will run into these problems,and it becomes totally unwatchable after a while
when more people try to access the channel.
I see that unfortunately this problem is present on this server also.

I have been told that there are some video compression software that can help with this problem.
I hope that the people who are in charge of this server are aware of this,and will make the necessary adjustments.
Or else like you said forget watching the Mayweather and Pacquiao fight,or the NFL season on your Mag.

I have been told that there are video compression software available that will produce a low-bitrate stream of the signal which will make the stream available to a larger
number of viewers than what is supported by the Stalker middleware without any noticeable loss of quality.

Or HD on the Mag in general?
On this server so far only the Canadian TSN sport channels,and the regional College sport channels looked somewhat like HD transmissions.
But then again it all boils down to the cost to run a server like this.
If you want to keep the subscription price down then there will be less HD channels available especially if you are planning to put together
a package of 600 plus channels.

You should know you won't get answers for questions like that, here. I'll just say that it's not just one streamer, and you'll need a packet or url sniffer to figure out the source, and even that won't tell you too much about the source's provider.

Actually I had a bug on my code.. should be fixed by now and I reuploaded manually the list to match the correct (REMOTE) tag. (The counters where correct thou, almost 50% local and 50% remote)

100% with you I am still looking to get the channels that was promise from sat 110 and 129 that we can not get here in our location all those internationals we get here, I know they want to please most people but if you see one prone (adult) channel you see all because there are all the same thing so we don't need all of those, stick to the original list

Most of the world does speak at least some of one language, English.
But I will say I'm happy for that are look for a good iptv service with channels from there home country but there are probably more that are looking for channels from their home countries, America. I admit the team has been doing a fantastic job however many are still looking for channels from original list. Keep up the good work NFPS but many won't be sold unless they see most of the original list. I'll wait until competed before I decide if its worth the extra money. Happy testing

I am not bashing the channels as I know they are all still in the testing phase, but does anyone elses CNN freeze constantly on and off and on and off.
Just wondering if there is some way to stop this, most others freeze a tiny bit, which isn't too annoying.

They are in testing mode. Have you ever tried any other IPTV provider? Channels come and go. Channels Freeze. I don't think they will start asking you to pay tomorrow. Let them tinker with it and see how it is at the end. Once you start paying for it, then we can start complaining that channels freeze. IPTV is not new. It's been around awhile/ Have you tested other providers? Try it for a month and you will see that it's not a perfect system. Personally, I don't think IPTV is ready to replace FTA. It's just a nice compliment to the service.

CNN is the worst news channel for freezing and as it does not lose any content it gets behind in timescale, not too bad as they have the same Breaking news for weeks/months on end, other news channels not freezing when I watched them, now up to 438 think new ones in the higher numbers but getting hard to check with a quick look, expect the Ass guy will help out later.

Yes my friend, I've tried many iptv, black boxes and even iks for years. I've never found a iptv service to be worth a damm that is why I'm hoping this one lives up to their original post. Not complaining but just saying what everyone else is. Alot of the live channels are down or freezing. That's what testing is all about,

New additions usualy need a reboot of portal or device to fully acknowledge channel number commands.

If you still are not seeing any logos you need to reboot your box,and they will be visible after the reboot.

Well aztheroth, Your claim would be valid if the server was NOT in test mode. Test mode means they will shuffle things around regularly. It's really not the time to wish for stability.Once we start paying for it, then it is expected that it would be somewhat stable. I have experience with a few paid servers from Europe and it's never 100% stable.. Not even close.

me thinks you misunderstand, no one said this is more stable than IKS, I believe they said it wasn't subject to ECM's and that's a true stmt. The reason being the card is not in the rec for iks and can be identified. This is not so for IPTV, the card stays in the slave unit. That being said, the seeders have a much greater outlay of expense, internet speed and bandwidth, the number of slaves to accomidate all the requests, etc. So I ask for your patience and understanding of how the system works if you don't mind, thks......

IKS does not require the type of internet that iptv does so your internet speed and capacity will say if your are stable or not. BTW there is already a free trial going on.

It is also worth noting that any comments on quality of service appear to be most unwelcome. It appears, at least to me, that the more popular a channel is, the more likey it is to have freezing. I do not take comfort in there being maybe 300 channels that do not freeze, they are mostly languages I do not speak. Note, I have tested at 35 mb/s speed with my mag254

I don't put too much stock on the current questions about our free testing period, behind the scenes there are a lot of technical procedures and testing that will make the service better. The channels list will be reviewed and no matter how big it is there will be people that will complaint but at the end they will get a better service and more bang to their buck that if they went anywhere else. IPTV has a whole is progressing with technology and there are to many variables (bandwith, devices hardware)that affect the current overall quality.

Freezing with IPTV and not loosing any content is a BIG step ahead of IKS. Nothing makes you want to scream more than watching some show on IKS and having it freeze at the worst possible times, missing some key words.

I have read many posts about time shifts which don't seem like a big deal to me. The quoted post tought me something new however, with no content lost during freezing, the time delay is a measure of the amount of the freezing over a peroid of time. Each freeze sets the clock back so to speak.

I have seen claims about IPTV being immune to ECM's. From this faq http://ftabeta.com/showthread.php?t=73304 "This service will not be affected by ECMs or encryption updates / upgrades."

I agree that I have never seen any claim that the service will never go down, heck, nobody could make that kind of claim.

IPTV is immune from ECM's but it is not immune from IP changes the networks or providers perform, most if not all of these channels are from different providers or networks, and IP and Conditional Access Systems change to prevent leaks or people they do not want getting their stream. I had a pretty good channel list from an International provider that would change their IP address regularly but always kept it within the same IP Scheme, so it was just a matter of changing a digit or two. But now they've changed their IP scheme completely and I can't find it. I assume those operating the servers here are experiencing similar issues which is why some channels are down. Remember the IP in IPTV, it is much easier to change an IP address than it is to transmit an ECM. Free TV will always be a Cat and Mouse game. What Rocket and NFPS is providing and the channels that remain up are impressive and these guys should be commended for their work, it seems like they are trying to get every TV channel that exists on this planet streaming. I like the Chinese Porn channels they are so funny.

Wow 5 minutes ago I was just testing channels and we were sitting at 480 Channels, mostly news channels were added at the time. Now it jumped up to 500 channels now.

I work for a very known company, global company, and one thing that we take serious is the complains. We make a new product and give it away in form of samples and we want to hear the complains... is the best way to improve. However, there are complains, and there are real complains. There's a difference between a testing report, and complaining. Complainers will put a judgement not based on fact, but opinion in their posts, such as "It's too slow" or "there's not enough", or "why is it that I can't". A testing report will report a fact with the underlying conditions and what they did to try to correct or suggest a reasonable solution. The reality of internet streaming is that there may be buffering, that streams may not be available or down when you want it, and sometimes the receiver of the stream may actually have a great part of why the stream fails to work. If you come into this "test", you have to temper your expectations, especially since users aren't paying for it, and it actually costs the provider to make the test public!

Probably because you may be using an Emulator or Stalker client with Kodi. They tend not to get the Adult channels, and maybe some more. Also at the time of my original post NFPS has moved the locals 97, 98, and 99 to 13, 14, 15 respectfully.

My 2 cents. As the mods have said in other threads, channel limit by stb software is 999. With one server(1.iptvpriv.....) they will not be able to have locals from every US city and still try to serve a worldwide market. So why ask. I live in Dallas and Thailand. Have not ask for channels from either area. I can see another server soon, move all the locals there. Till they start charging $$, be happy, if you have a question read first then ask.

the channels are from NFPS iptv service. These updates are what is currently being added or removed daily at the server end.
To get these channels, you would need to enter the NFPS server into your Mag receiver. Check the Mag forum for instruction on that.

In my opinion if you get something for free then you should not complaint about it just take it of leave it, but if you pay for something then I can see there is a space for a demand.

This analogy does not make any sense. I think what Date said was simple, it's free it's on testing mode so if you are unable to provide constructive criticism and does not understands this. you have the free choice to not use it.

Kodi is free and all its addons are free. Showbox. HD cinema. Mobdro. Movietube. Watch live TV etc are all free and have forums and blogs whereppeople give their input and the admins respond to them. What's so special about this IPTV from NFps that you can't voice your concerns without getting cut down

Testing period provides future users a look at channels, hardware options (devices), hardware set up, in which time the Provider works on product stability and issues that might arise with IPTV Service (too many to detail). This forum provides guidance and technical support to get you started. The members provide feedback which is duly noted (but most of the time already known to the provider). Feedback from the users is good unless it comes under the context of complaining

Complaining definition: express dissatisfaction or annoyance about a state of affairs or an event.

Expressing dissatisfaction or annoyance for a service that as already being noted to be in a TESTING state and like you said is free is not productive and only serves to create a negative environment.

And to be honest this testing roll out is very good, other providers charge a lot monthly for what we are getting for free now, so I apologize if i do not have much empathy for your cause.

With what we are doing right now, we do not need channel requests, or complaints about subtitles seen on some channels, or complaints on why some channels may have wrong name, or no name, or complaints about way too many things that do not help NFPS testing or help our sanity here on the site.
This is not a channel test, it is more of what and how our server admins find themselves into with IPTV and their resources and stuff pertaining to that end of stuff.
If this test was a test for complaints, well them Movie and Sports and Adult channels that have no name would be testing our sanity all over the boards :eek:

You entitle the right to express your own opinion and I respect that, although the way I see it is complaint offers nothing but discouraging for the major effort of the team who is trying to put the puzzle together for us offering their best of knowledge before everyone goes into the dark, although instead we should call it suggestion & ideas which is welcoming by the team since ideas and suggestions will always improve the major effort which the team put out for us before the iks dies completely.
Complaints = Zero and discouraging for the effort
Suggestions & ideas = Improvements in the service

Best description I have seen yet Crazed, well done ! Test mode can cover a lot of territory, without any description its pretty vague and wide open. Your description may save some of that aggrivation for everyone involved.

Yes I agree other providers charge more but that's not a problem where quality is there number one goal. 90 percent of the time price determines quality

500 plus channels are OK looking at them but how much channels can you watch at a time

I disagree a little cause I have never paid for a IPTV service that has been like the free one here. Here have more channels but only 20% percent works at one time . would be nice to get quality whether testing or not

Please. Don't mix VOD with live tv. VOD list can have 1000s of movies... but people want to see live channels. No one will pay for VOD.

First test go to channel 1 and Page up to page 17 had two fail with15 good.
Test number two check all on page 5 (varius intrest) and 7 (eductiona/news) 14 channels on each page and all came up good, all told that is a pretty high percentage.
Using a mag254 at 7meg /L.

I hope they are going to add some English speaking channels.......Most of the channels now appear to be in other languages....which does me no good.......if the list of channels as of now was a complete list...I just don't think it would be worth it to me to pay $138.00 for.............I'm using my avov more for it's apps .and VOD,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I was hoping the iptv would include all the Dish 400's
and/or baseball extra innings................

where has it ever been stated that dn is a source? I'll tell you this, never. The channels come from a multitude of sources and channel numbers won't identify the source. They are for convenience and recognition, that is all. I hope this helps you to understand..

i was really hoping for all the baseball myself, but the good news is the fox sports channels are on the list , just aren't added yet. so once they implement those plus the mlb network should get any baseball game thats on really.

yes fox sports 1 and 2. im talking about all the fox sports local ch like fox sports midwest, south, west, etc. they are on the imposed list. they all carry local baseball teams for mlb. anyway im happy with the mlb network so far :)
