AVOV Tvonline+ How to record a TV program Does anyone know?. Can the USB port be used to connect an external drive and record?

Not live channels.....but with kodi yes.............

You currently cannot record live TV. I have heard the new software AVOV is coming out with someday would have this feature, but that's what I've "heard".

I was not aware you can record from Kodi. I know you can download movies and shows, but real time record is a feature of Kodi I am not aware of.

With Kodi however, the need to record something off live TV is almost not necessary. If you missed a show you can usually find it on Kodi; it's almost like a personal PVR.

However, if you have a VCR, or like me a stand alone DVD recorder, you can use the AV outputs of the AVOV box and plug it into the AV inputs of your VCR/DVD recorder and record live TV that way. The VCR/DVD will have timer functions, but unfortunately the AVOV has no timer functions so any recordings you do you will have to be present for to start the process.
