Going crazy with setting up EPG

I have been searching posts, and frankly i am going nuts, i WANT EPG and for the life of me i cant get it to work, been at it for weeks not just today i have NFPS via papiao and it works fine but it be nice to have tv guide and i cant get that setup, i have tried stalker client for iptv66 and i just cant get it to work, i am uisng fire stick and nvidia box but keep getting authantication error and i hve done mac resets and still no good, i do have subscription to iptv and nfps as i mentioned nfps via papiao works but no epg eighter.

Any help would be appreciated, there are so many posts it gets confusing afer a while.

EPG is currently down so don't adjust anything while they fix it, thanks.

I believe the ********** epg is still up for Kodi users, but maybe not for the box users who go through the provider's epg.

Yes, my epg has been doing fine over the last few days via **********. I have seen enough anecdotal evidence, however, that there are issues with the guide for box users. I suspect the back end is playing catch up with that aspect of the upgrade.

my original epg went down too and now im stuck with papiao kodi addon and no epg :(

What do you mean by box users and go through the providers epg? MAG/AVOV users?

dara - I've been nuts trying to get the guide to work since the individual portal numbers have been assigned. I have looked at so many threads and still, no success!!! The channels come in even if the guide to that link is blank, but it would be nice to have a video showing us exactly how to do it! I'm using Fire TV (latest version)!

I don't do videos... it would be a security issue for me.

Use the ********** epg updater service add-on, let it configure your pvr.stalker, and on pvr.stalker, make sure you select 'Local Path". The service add-on should fill in the path for you.

I did it on one of my devices and then I got a number mismatch error.(?)..it changed my device id numbers, serial numbers, signature # etc and now I have an authentication issue and will have to reset. It's extremely frustrating...and no matter what I do, the guide is not filling in!!! Sorry, I meant to say "step by step" in one thread!

Look at the stickies for configuration help. They are the closest to a 'step by step'. There was a problem with the epg today, so hopefully that won't be an issue tomorrow to fix it.

If you have issues on how the epg updater works, I think psycon is open to hear suggestions.
