Does Showbox only work on Android systems?

I have Kodi 16 installed on a android tablet along with the showbox addon and everything works like it should.

So I installed Kodi 16 on my laptop, Windows 10. Most addons work like they should except Showbox. Whenever I select something to watch the stream always comes back with an error. Says something about check log which I don't where to find the log.

Using Log Viewer for Kodi addon
Select “System” on the Home Screen.
Then “Add-ons”.
Click on “Install from repository”.
Select “Kodi Add-on Repository”. ...
Go to “Program add-ons”.
Scroll the list until you find “Log Viewer for Kodi” and click on it.
Press “Install” and wait a couple of seconds while it downloads.

Some add-ons are platform specific, it may be that ShowBox is one of them.

Showbox works on win10 i can confirm.

There's an addon. I tried it many many months ago. Wasn't to impressed. It's just another addon. The apk is 100 times better. It's an android apk, doesn't work on Windows. Unless you run through an emulator like bluestacks.

Do a web search for Showbox for Windows download.....there is an app for Win 7,8,8.1 and 10 in both 32 and 64 bit versions. The apk apps are for droids but there are also apps for Linux, Mac, Windows and Droids.

i thought showbox was an app, not a kodi addon Showbox has several apps for almost every type of OS out there but I would download and install fusion.tvaddons.ag and load the subs which will take you to video apps provided by the tvaddon repository. Exodus is top dog in my opinion but equal to Showbox any day of the week. Pretty much same movies, shows and other apps to fill in the gaps.

You can install some apks in Windows. I did that for Showbox using Arc Welder and Google App Launcher, it worked great. I didn't feel like screwing around with Bluestacks emulation.
