No channel info on all channels

After the upgrade all my channels have "No channel info" as a description on all channels.
I have rebooted my device (Mag254) as well as restarted the portal.
I get a picture on the selected channel but no description of what's playing.
Will this clear up in he future of is there something I need to change to get
the info to change?
I am still using the original portal I was told to assign.

Final question.
Does the Mag254 have a function to repopulate the EPG or is that done at the server end.
My old FTA receiver had a way to repopulate the EPG. thks
