Spinning candy cane with new information

Hi all, like everyone I have been down for days. Woke to a new message on my Mag50 regarding portal changes. Put in my donation code and was given a new portal. Plus it asked for some login information I have never been given. I changed the portal, but am stuck on the spinning candy cane, not slowly filling with yellow like it normally has.
any suggestions would be great.
