I was certain this was going to happen back last July when 1.iptv and 100.iptv were in effect for testing.

Glad to see that this change could potentially be a reality, as I've tested 1, 2, 3 (not active), 4, and 5 all in the web browser. Anything higher than 5 (tested 6-13) as of this post doesn't exist/not active at all. 11. and 100. say it took to long for a response, but 1,2,4 and 5 take seconds.

Seems like something is cooking in the oven that may benefit everyone and relieve some server tension.

That is a possibility too, as crazed 2.0 said he heard about this a while ago, and after the announcement in February I suspected it was going to go this way but wasn't certain as to when, as I thought it would have happen earlier when it went from free to paid (July 2015), this also leads me to believe that the stream addresses will be changing as well.

For folks jumping on these new addresses, use them only temporarily (will work for some but not for all). My advise would be to check your donation numbers in the status checker, and see what server address you may have been assigned, as this could be part of what is supposed to occur tomorrow (April 5th). This is a guess on my part but I suspect there will be a Whitelist and Blacklist of MACs that will be allowed on each of the portal address, once again this is speculation on my part, but it would fix the traffic/buffering issues that people seem to talk about.

So as I suspected don't just put in any address but if your using Kodi 16 it's a simple edit, just add the associated number that your assigned to your address.

So if you are assigned X.iptv - In Kodi 16 it will be portalX.iptv = X is the portal number you are assigned. It will be either 1, 2, 4, 5 as of this post.

You'll probably want to start a new thread for that issue, since this one is related to the portal address change. If it is working with a tethered phone, it isn't a server issue. You are getting the same stream in both instances. If it were the server, it would be choppy on the phone as well. But enough about the issue in this thread.

It has to be your router... There are certain routers that are causing this... Look through the forum and find a known good router. I am using a net gear N600 and haven't had any issues at all wired or wireless... I would suggest only using the address given to you though just in case they start banning ip addys that aren't assigned to a certain address though....

Kodi 16 doesn't handle URL forwarding.

If the server is 3.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal3.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

If the server is 4.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal4.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

If the server is 5.iptvprivateserver.tv then you would use portal5.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html

Will give up for another day... Hopefully they can update the NFPS client for these new portals. This client is going to be a pain in the ass under openelec because the user data folder is hidden under .kodi and cannot be browsed to for the xmltv setup.

the profile folder is hidden on all platforms, what makes you so special? :)
on android you hide files and folders the same way with a . and .kodi is hidden too, on windows its buried deep down under the users profile in a also hidden appdata folder. its always hidden unless you run kodi in portable mode.
kodi, or addons does not get to the profile folder that way. and if you want to get to it yourself openelec provides some very easy ways to do so.

It's no longer a temporary fix, it a permanent fix as it was officially announced via Announcements at the NFPS homesite, but it really applies to all services supported here at IPTV Talk.

what address were you assigned? Have you unplugged your MAG 254 a couple of times? and what firmware are you on?. I've had friends ask me what the fix was for their MAG 254, all I told them was to change it from 11 to what number they were assigned.

Edit: Someone over at the NFPS homesite who was assigned 1.iptv tried to change it to one of the working portals 2-5, and they came up with a "Authentication Error" that is what they said. As I suspected earlier they may have implemented Whitelist and Blacklists of MAC so people can't be jumping from server to server, at least not at this point in time. I don't have a way of testing this myself though.

try to reboot your unit, and try loading again. Chances are you will be asked for your username/password. Sometimes you gotta keep trying to load up the portal. Portal 1 will not load at all, but you can at least get to the authentication bar on portal 2.

I can't confirm 2 is up because I don't know anyone with 2. however It load up in web browser no problem. I have been able to verify with friends about 3 and 5 over text messages.

I don't think you can switch portal address on your own, unless requested from the higher ups. This situation may have fixed the problem for those users in the Caribbean whose ISP was blocking the 11 address.

That is unfortunate, I know switching portals probably would have been the easiest of solutions but that has been blocked the blacklist. I'd say put it back to 2.iptvprivateserver.tv, and try again either later tonight or tomorrow. It appears you are making a connection there is no doubt but it gets stuck loading which make me believe that the connection dies after a few seconds of loading. At this point I recommend waiting it out.

That would explain it, Portal 1 is currently down as of this post, and there is a blacklist in place for each portal for Username/Password/MAC if you try to change it to one that you aren't authorized for, this is to help balance the server loads. I read NFPS post very carefully and this was the hidden message I saw in that announcement.

The best thing to do at this point is leave everything as what you were assigned and try again in a few hours, or try to tomorrow. Unfortunately is sucks and I understand your pain.

I'm almost certain that incarnation of the PVR Stalker client does not have the ability to send username, password and most of the required credentials. I don't think it had much more than a spot for the server address and MAC address. I might be wrong, but think that is the case.

If Kodi 15 then --- 2.iptvprivateserver.tv (the longer one also works)

If Kodi 16 then --- portal2.iptvprivateserver.tv/stalker_portal/c/index.html (only the long one works)

I was assigned to server 2 and yet keep getting an error just installed krypton and installed the papioa 10.1 as a bandage fix

Up and running on portal 2 for me. Kodi 16. TV guide doesn't seem to work though. Anyone know if its down?

One more thing, I see your offline as of this post, but have you tried using Google DNS? I got on but had to use the new updated IPTV emulator. The Free STB emu and the Pro version would not load the portal.

well i go to the iptvrocket.is site, papiao.is/donation checker comes up with my present iptv portal info 11.iptvrocket.tv info and show my donation active for 141 days so how now do i change it to a different portal number which will link me on as everything i try from 1 to 5 infrom of the iptv with the http//: infront doesn't

You don't need to change anything if you are on Rocket. The only changes were for NFPS. Your old portal is still your working portal.

It sounds like you're using IPTV Stalker Papiao 10.0.0. You will need to update to 10.0.1. It will give you options for NFPS portals 1 through 5.

you need to check your Donation# and see the Portal to use.

The Donation Checkers have been up and down the past couple of days. The only thing you can do is try it periodically. They are aware of the issues and are working on it. I know Crazed communicated with them again today.

I was able to login earlier to papiao and did a reset.

Rebooted box and re-authenticated; All channels BLACK :mad:

Hey, 4wheelin, I finally got my Mag254 to show the authentication page. Carefully put in my donation number for each box and an error was shown. Tried to check the donation number with papa but it doesn't register. Have had this number for about a month and it has worked but not now.....any suggestions? Thank you ver much and keep up the good work.
