While channel surfing lately i have come across some channels that when selected they go black with audio then a box appears saying " the resolution is not supported on this tv. please change the resolution " i have never come across this other than the last month or so, i have a Samsung Smart tv, i have looked in the tools and menu areas and dont see anywhere to change the rez but noticed that there is a rez setting in settings under video on my Mag ( video output mode- 1080p-60 .. Graphic resolution- 1280 x 720 ), im not sure what the other channel numbers were but there were about 4 of them that i came across, do i need to change the rez settings on the Mag if so to what please.
sorry forgot to add the recent channels, they were 82, 78
Changes are made in the receiver and not the tv.

No its not a 4K and i made a mistake in my previous quote there are only 3 settings for grafx rez ... 720 x 576 , 1280 x 720 and same as video , i have tried all 3 and no go , the same as setting resets back to the 1280 mode , should i start playing with the video output mode settings?

it is quite alot of channels and it only started doing it roughly 3 weeks ago, so anyway i went through a s@$t load of posts and came across one that said try changing the auto refresh rate to 24/60 hz and it seemed to do the job ... go figure, here are my current settings out -1080p - 60 grafx 1280 x 720 auto frame rate 24/60 Hz, hope this helps others
