So just got the OTT M8

its preloaded with everything but cant seem to get it connected through wifi or ethernet. it would say connecting, but nothing happens.

I hotspoted my smartphone and it worked perfect there.

Does anyone what the problem is?

Tried that several times, I get the same problem.

What else can I do? Like I said it worked at my friends place flawlessly before he gave it to me. It also worked when I used my phone as a hotspot.
