Audio on mag 254

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to get more volume when using the video club movies. I have to turn my tv volume to 100 and mag volume on max and then sometimes I can't hear everything.
When using the reg tv channel lineups the volume is fine. Would this be the fault of the mag or the server?
