Hey all, I turned on kodi after a couple of weeks and I got the "authorization failed" message. Afetr a little playing around I went on the papiao site to check things and I noticed that my IP address was changed. I know I didn't change it. I put in the IP address that was linked and it's working. My question is, why did it change if I didn't change it? Is this common? Thank you for any info.

I do not really know why that would happen. There are others that get a MAC that changes to being empty or blank and needs to be re-entered
Never seen one that actually is changed to another MAC number thou.

Odd indeed, I will keep track and report back if this happens again. Hopefully the site isn't getting hacked, or me....

Did you buy your donation directly from papio or from a reseller??

Sorry for the late reply, direct from papiao. And now I'm getting device conflict. I only have one device and I havent touched it in days.

Ok, so back to square 1. Every night I need to do an iptv reset, 2 nights ago I replaced my mac and all was good. Last night while I was watching tv I got the "authentication failed" error. It was late so I didn't do anything . Tonight i go check on the papiao site and my mac address changed again.
So either something is funky on the papiao site or someone is able to hack into my donation and modify the mac. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

i would try clean install change or upgrade kodi if needed and then the stalker
Just out of curiosity... is the MAC getting changed to all zeros? If so, there might be an issue with your donation record. If you see the same MAC over and over again, it also could be a database issue as well.
If you suspect someone taking your donation number, you can send an e-mail to papiao to have it changed. Resellers can also reassign a new donation number for their customers as well.

@asft, it's not my kodi changing mac it's on the papiao site.
@ Dara, No it changes to a "valid" type mac and always different. I bought it direct from the papiao site and i already sent an email with my concerns a few days ago, no response yet.
