I got the iptv plus iks a while ago
Hi sorry if this is answered on a different thread but I got the iptv plus iks a while ago and im just wondering what's the difference between the two and when I'm watching iptv on my emulator am I using both iks and iptv or do I have to change something to use iks
You are using IPTV. IKS is satellite TV. You need a satellite receiver to use it.

Hi Patrick. They are different things, the IKS is a donation for satellite service, so, you need to have an actual physical dish on your roof and a FTA decoder capable of connecting to the server wich provides de descramble keys (over the internet, but you are not receiving the video broadcast via the web, but rather the keys themselves), and you will receive the channels associated with the satellite and service you are pointing to on your dish (Blue, Red, Cielo, Claro, Amazonas, Bell)... On the other hand, IPTV is Tv over the internet, so you dont need a dish or a FTA box, as long as you have a computer or android device with the required configuration you should be good to go, and given that IPTV is over the internet, you are able to receive chanels that are well outside the footprint of the satellite for your location, the only thing is that you need a strong internet signal to receive the channels without too much freezing, so if you ask me which one I prefer, i'll say IPTV is less of a hassle, and the bigger selection on channels is awesome, so there you go... Different things but kind of related to each other.
