Kodi on Vixo 2

Last week I got a message on Kodi 15.2 saying that there was an update for it on my Vixo 2. I tried to update but it after downloading the package it just stayed on installing for a very long time so I cancelled it. I looked on the store and found Kodi version 16. I tried to install it but it showed already installed. I had to remove version 15.2 and install version 16 in order to get it installed. That worked fine so I installed my addons and modified the shortcuts and hid the music, pictures and weather. I noticed that every time I reboot the system it says that there is an update to Kodi 16 called 15.2. If I tried to update it never completes, if I cancel the update it resets kodi by changing my shortcuts and restores hidden sections like music, pictures, weather and custom background back to default.
Anybody else having the same problem? I even factory reset my box and only installed Kodi 16 but I get the same problem.

Uninstall it again and the run the memory cleaner utility in the mickyhop store that should fix your issue.

Uninstalled, cleaned all of the directories using memory cleaner and re-installed. Same thing. After a reboot I go to Kodi and it says that there is an update available.

It's a bug that is happening in a lot of boxes, for now just hit cancel!!

Having a similar issue, every time I power on my box, and go to Kodi, all of the shortcuts have disappeared, and have to install again.
