PVR stalker issues

Hello everyone, glad to be here and hope to learn a bit more about PVR stalker client.

I have an Asus Chromebox running Openelec 6.0.3 with Kodi 15.2 that comes pre installed with Pvr stalker client 0.8.4.

Now this is my issue, I'm emulating a mag 250 and only half of the channels load, no VOD, no adult and no guide with the timeout set to 15. I have edited the xml file to 50 for the time out.

The guide and all the channels load using the Mag250 from the same source. Iv'e also tried to use the IPTV Stalker RIP addon by inputting the same information that I'm using on the stalker client, but keep getting errors. I've tried different MAC addresses, seria#, etc.

The answer is probably out there but I might not be searching properly or don't know what to look for, is there another Emulator or addon for a Mag250 that will work with Kodi? (not android based) My purpose is to have Kodi and the MAG 250 emulating from the OPenelec machine rather than having two separate boxes.

Any help or direction would help.

Just wanted to tell you to stay away from the Stalker RIP addon... It's a clone and is not discussed or supported! I will have to look around to see if I can help you on the other things... But delete the RIP addon

Done, Iv'e never been able to use that addon or ever got it working in the first place.

By the way, I did read all of the 176 pages of the Stalker client

I moved the thread from the IPTV Stalker area, but we'll focus on the issue with Kodi and the included PVR Staker.

First thing, its possible to have the same settings for both the STB Emu, and the built-in PVR Stalker. You need to have matching MACs, login, password, Serial Number and Device ID in both, and no other entries for Device ID2, token or Signature. However, you can't have both running on the same box (or anywhere, for what it matters).

If you are getting a partial load of channels, it may not have anything to do with your settings... it may be to low memory storge for your device. The time out settings are to help with issues with a slow connection or slow responding server. You won't get VoD with Kodi, the pvr isn't designed for it. You should review the subforum on the **********, but there are occasional issues where a complete guide is not available.

Did a fresh install of openelec latest version. Stalker client loads all channels now, no guide no vod. I guess that stalker client does not support vod or guide like the stalker servers in the Mag. Still no luck with papiao though. I'm running stalker client with one provider and papiao with iptv66. Does papiao work with Mac :79 or :78 or does it matter?

You should use the :78 prefix, but I don't think that's the issue with the lack of a guide.
