I am using npsf and keep getting every 2 days or so a device mismatch or authentication error is it worth going through the grueling task of configuring the built in PVR
Using matricon G box
Kodi 16 stable
I have reset the Mac address again but feel that there should be a better way of doing the authentication task to prevent your customers from continuously having to reset their Mac addresses every 3 days

I am using the NFPS PVR also and never had that issue are you sure you don't have PAPIO Stalker installed also this would cause a miss match or trying to run from another device.

Have you considered using the STB emulator? I have that on my G box and on my main unit i use the PVR client.

I had the same thing last night and again just now. Watching NCIS and crashed to home screen and froze had to reboot Avov. After reboot "Stalker Client NFPS Authentication failed" & "device mismatch". Go to papiao and cant get access with "unsuccessful". Last night waited about 1/2 hour and tried everything again and system came up ok. Using Kodi 16 available on Avov store. Just waiting now.
Sure Enough waited about 1/2 hour and can get access to papiao click IPTV reset and tv comes back up
EDIT
Thursday night and same thing again Authentication failed" & "device mismatch". Go to papiao and IPTV reset and up again!

You could try the STB emulator on your g box.. That is what I am using on one of the systems I currently have. Once I set it up I haven't had any issues with it at all. I still use Kodi for movies and when I want to use iptv I switch the the emulator.

Device mismatch i believe means either you have used your credentials in another stalker addon or pvr client and have not changed your mac first, then do a reset iptv afterwards.

setting up the built in stalker client is not really a grueling task when you done it once.
as bkman2020 writes tech timmeruu even has some easy going videos.
@pod77 what external player do you use if any? the built in player can not play the streams properly on my box but maybe it can on yours?
sorry for sidetracking the thread a bit, it should be over fast. :)

I believe MX Player is probably the best external player, but i could be wrong.
