WiFi setting

I have Wifi internet coming into my house from a tower nearby. I hook into an apple airport extreme router. I have it hard wired to the mag254. Since this is not cable or DSL, What settings should it be on WiFi, ethernet or Pppoe? I have an issue with it shutting down every couple of minutes and have it on ethernet setting right now and I change my DNS to 8888.

Be aware that running any of these devices on Wifi you may get freezing and or buffering unfortunately.
