Regarding IPTV and not apps or addon's or using netflix or that stuff. Just the channel viewing as a satellite replacement.
Besides the processor, ram, storage, and emulator vs true iptv scenarios, my issue is build quality & the tuner chip that gives you side-by-side the best viewing possible.
It's not easy to throw a few hundred bucks at something and then dread the purchase with a looming, " ... if only if I bought the other one?"
I don't want a headache regarding the unit rebooting, over heating of the things like the remote constantly breaking.
I'd sacrifice a second or 2 of menu & channel lag to get a box that works well, and has little issues regarding the basics.
SO PLEASE share your thoughts based on these 2 units that seem to be the mainstream choice.
I can each one for the same price, and the Avov guy will give me a 1 year in house guarantee & a replacement to use if it needs to be shipped back (and he doesn't sell the Mag's.)
The mag254, well, not so much. Mostly 1 year through the manufacturer & I have no clue how that really plays out after they get your money.
