Can anyone shed any light on this please? I'm struggling to get a subscription to work properly with IPTV. It works after I reset the MAC but will only work once then fail. It seems that the MAC address changes in KODI, SYSTEM, INFORMATION, NETWORK sometimes. Is this possible? I set the box up at my house on wifi and it was working fine. Gave it back to my friend who plugged it in on ethernet and it's not working and the MAC has changed.:mad:
Thank you!
What box and what Kodi addon are you using?

What box and what Kodi addon are you using?
I'm using an MXQ with Jarvis 16.0. Spinz 1.18 build, IPTV Papio ver10.0 with Ivue 2 ver0.0.6. When I use the sub on my Macbook with the same setup and change the MAC to my MacBooks Mac it works grand. Could it be a copy android box with problems?
For the purpose of configuring for non dedicated STBs (like the MAGs or AVoVs), the MAC is entirely arbitrary. You can set it up to whatever you want, as long as it starts with 00:1A:78, and no one else is using it. You shouldn't have to change the MAC if you to a different box or client, but if you want it to avoid an IPTV Reset, you have to make sure the device info is the same (Serial Number, Device ID, Device ID2, and Signature, but only the first two are required).
As far as your box, you get what you pay for, but I run Kodi on some very generic devices with no issues. I don't know about the build that you have, but they screw up personalized settings. As far as what you see as a MAC in the Kodi system info, it's whatever it is connecting to the outside internet, so if its going through ethernet, its using the ethernet network adapter's MAC or if its going through the wireless, then its using that network adapter MAC. It has nothing to do with the IPTV Stalker addon MAC, which I said was 'arbitrary'.

Ok, so choose a MAC address starting with 00:1A:78 and hope it's unique and not being used. Assign the MAC via the donation number on https://papiao.is/main/search_nfps/
For the serial number, device ID & ID2 are these just random numbers that I think of and use each time I move the sub or are they copied from a serial number of the device?
Sorry to bother you but if you wouldn't mind just letting me know this last bit of info I've all the knowledge to be up and running!
Thanks Dara!
For Kodi, the serial number and device info are also arbitrary, but most will recommend using 13 alphanumeric characters for the the Serial Number, and at least 13 characters for the Device ID. Don't use spaces or special characters. Setting up Device ID2 and Signature are optional, but they have to match the same way. Remember you can't customize the PVR Stalker NFPS client for device info.

Hi Dara,
I've followed all the information and still get IPTV authorisation failed and I just cannot understand why it is so complicated and troublesome. I'm hoping I'm missing a vital bit of info. I have a few subs and none of them are working apart from the one on my macbook.
Here's what I've done.
I've updated IPTV Papio to the latest version.
I've reset it to default.
I've entered the MAC as per the MAC that is related to that Donation
I've reset the MAC
Papio is set up as NFPS
I've entered the last 6 digits of the MAC in XX:XX:XX format
I've entered the ORDER ID in login and password
Send device info is checked
Custom info is asdfg12345asd for serial, device, device ID2 and signature
I've cleared the cache in IPTV Papio
I've cleared the KODI Cache
Rebooted Kodi
When I go into IPTV Papio I get "ITV Authorisation Failed" So close yet so far but by doing the same on my MACBOOK it's ok.
Am I doing something obviously wrong or could you please help. I've a lot of money in subs that I just cannot use.
Do not use the Order Number for the login and password. Use the 12 digit Donation Number for NFPS and Rocket or the 13 digit Route Number for IKS66.
