kodi 16 wont install on samsung tab2

i cannot get kodi 16 to install on my tab 2,it downloaded but wont install.i currently have kodi 15.2 installed and working with wookie.does anyone know why it wont install ?,or how i can get it to install.i would like to update to the newest version.thanks.

install kodi from google store

Go to Android Settings / Security - Enable " Allow Unknown Sources "

or go to Android Settings / App Manager - click on Kodi then Click the Update button.
