Lol, was too lazy to scroll down. Like you said the EPG does look nice. I don't have the finance to test this out so going to have to wait or pass but it does look really nice.

If you check the specs, it shows 4K is included with the video so I can only assume it comes with 4k enabled, no upgrade required. Sorry, I'm not really impressed with the looks of the box but its not a deal breaker but I do hope this new Dreamlink isn't another box linked to Google or its Playstore. I do hope it comes with a loader to load any 3rd party Kitkat 4.4.2 App.

You can load 5 different servers in the box.
When you turn the box off for the night when you turn it back on it will go to the last server you were watching the night before.
Is a very fast box at performance............With the quad processor and all that ram, lightspeed with plenty of room to load apps and a USB 3.0 for Storage or maybe a USB wifi ?

To be honest, I really don't use the ethernet port on my AVOV Vixo 2 as it uses the 2.4ghz wifi but I do agree, the 10/100 is old and it should have a least one gig port

the big thing is how it will stream 4k so far really the best works for me is download and play on player can you do that on this box play from hard drive or fast usb stick

there actually is a few 4k movie rips out for download taken from Netflix and amazon, try search a torrent site or google 4k movie rips. or look below. :)

Can anyone provide any information regarding wifi on this box as I'm beginning to think its 2.4 ghz with less than 100 mb/s wifi speed which brings things back to why there isn't a T1000 ethernet port on this box. Buffering and freezing issues will be someting to consider with full HD 1080P and higher 4K or Ultra HD formats which brings me to wonder if this is a short term box with a limited future ?

Yes it does work playing on my Samsung Smart TV.

The question was what is a T1? This is one fast little box with some unique features.
The biggest improvement I've found with this box to most android boxes is the ease of use, an awesome picture quality.
Even a novice with little or no android knowledge will be able to operate this unit

I like the fact that when you exit out to turn it off for the night when you turn it back on you don't have to do anything as it goes to the last server and to the ch you were watching before you turned it off for the night.

I have to be careful with this feature If the unit turns on by accident,(turning my t5 off turns the t1 on) i would be streaming live tv without knowing it
I have no problem but other family members might not realiaze it
