Buffer Settings

I get some odd freezing now and then and was wondering if adjusting the buffer settings would help improve freezing channels. If so, what would be a good setting?.

Is it a certain station? certain hours? who is your isp? What are your current settings? The more information you give the more likely you are to get an answer.
