Hi,
I have tried IPTV66 to make it work in Kodi and since I couldn't I bought an Avov+ and now it is working fine.
I have a top-notch HTPC running Kodi, I was wondering if I go back and try to set it up for Kodi now will this screw up my subscription with IPTV66? (I noticed a new post with a new nice guide for Kodi)
I do not want to switch back and forth between Avov and Kodi for my movies and live TV. I know Avov has Kodi but as a system is too weak, too slow in comparison with my HTPC.

Looks like you will need another subscription. You can switch back like you stated but do you really want to do that? lol.

O course I want to do that. As I said I have a performant HTPC loaded with over 2700 movies and hundreds of tv shows that is my primarily source of movie entertainment while IPTV is used only to watch news sometimes. The thing is that I am not sure if it work in Kodi hence there is no point for me to buy another subscription. Is there a way to switch the settings on IPTV66 server? I assume that if the same sub is accessed from two different devices at the same time, the sub becomes invalid so I want to try only one at the time and eventually stick with Kodi if it works.

-you can switch MAC addys at the iks66.com website, but there is a limit on how many times per day it can be done. I do not have that info handy right now, but many run into the wait 24 hours error message when doing this too many times in one day.
-you will have to remember to use the correct URL depending on the Kodi version being used.
v15.2 = http://66.iptv66.tv
v16 = http://mw1.iptv66.tv/stalker_portal/c/
Kodi MAC prefix = 00:1A:78
Avov MAC prefix = 00:1A:79
-you also may have to reset the IDs every time you change and relink the MAC addy
Serial # : 13 digits
Device Id : 6 digits
Device Id 2 : 6 digits
Signature : 6 digits

Thank you crazed, very useful info! Normally if it works in Kodi, will not have reason to switch.
Good to be part of this forum!

The house button is your friend. I tried that a while back but was way to much work to keep up.

Just remember now that you got your Avon up after having issues the other day don't come back and complain you are having issues again. If you had a hard time setting it up before I have no idea why you would want to screw around with it. I responded to your thread the other day when you said there was no support here. If something isn't broke don't mess with it! Especially there is a limit on how many time a day your Mac can be changed!!

It is a bit confusing,
I have read in few posts to enter:
v15.2 = http://66.iptv66.tv (http://66.iptv66.tv/)
v16 = http://mw1.iptv66.tv/stalker_portal/c/
but two days ago Dara wrote in this post (http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?9506-Troubleshooting-Authentication-on-PVR-Stalker&p=119747&viewfull=1#post119747):
You have a correct Server Address. Any will work in Kodi 15 and above
