Firmware and Stalker on fire stick question

I have two firesticks both were running stalker nfps. The firmware on both were updated to firmware 5 and stalker quit working on both, one went down first and I spent a few days trying to figure out what the problem was with stalker, then the other other went down and I realized it was the update that caused stalker to quit working. Question is, is anyone running pvr stalker with updated amazon firmware?

I am using the PVR Stalker that comes with 16 and it is working.

The new firestick updates the android version from 4.4.4 to 5.1. As it does it, pvr.stalker.NFPS will cease to work, throwing out the dreaded .dll error.

You can go through the trouble of trying to root, doing this and that.... but at the end of the day its easier to configure the built in pvr.stalker (which is working just fine).
Make sure you are on 16.0 kodi and follow the directions in the sticky to get it configured.
