Hello,
I'm having to unplug and plugin back in the box every morning because the portal seems to be unresponsive, the guide gets stuck at loading and when going to the settings it gets stuck at the white screen.
Is there a way to reload the portal or reboot the box just using the remote? I don't want to damage the box by having to do this several times a day. Or is there a way to configure the power button on the remote to completely turn off the box? Any help will be appreciate it.
Thanks

on the remote, use the gear button, just below the blue button

well yes, that gear button (Set-Up button) is a remote function. Then it opens the inner portal menu where the reboot function and server setup and other functions can be found.

UPDATE:
I change the usb wifi adapter to an ethernet cable connected to a repeater, what a huge difference that made, no more freezing, lagging, guide not loading, settings getting stuck, no more having to reboot 10 times a day. Everything is working perfect.

I can't even open set up. I can scroll up and down the channels but only in the small picture frame. When I press on the home ( little house button) it won't go to full screen. I can't go to set up anyway..I have to unplug and reboot. Once in a while I get a writing on top and it says connection problem ? When I press on the ok it stays the same..or when I press on the home little house button it also stays the same.

I did do some reading, could not find anything that helped me except the post that was up.. I am very new to this..I guess going on here is not helpful. All I got was a sarcastic remark, like I said I am very new to this and I'm sure many have been there. But I guess this is not where I need to ask for help...sorry to bother everyone.

I contacted my provider and he helped me with this issue. I unplugged it for several minutes and it re-set itself. So here is a tip for the next one with a similar problem. have a great day everyone.
