I get past the new username/password authentication, but yellow bar doesn't finish loading. It loads about 1/6 of the way and stops. I've left it like this overnight, and was the same way in the morning. Does this service no longer work with Mag254?

I had the same problem over the week-end.

How do I reboot? Other than unplugging and plugging the power chord (which I have done)?
Thanks

on your Mag remote, look near the top and under the Blue button you will see a button with a gear icon on it.
Use that button and you will see the options open up.

I figured out how to reboot. (thanks crazed).
But.. After rebooting multiple times, same results. Still stuck at ~20% loading.

FYI - everything worked fine a few weeks ago, but I haven't used the box since then. Was there any other setting that I should have changed when the server began using password authentication?

Is there a way to reset to factory defaults? Maybe that would be a good place for me to start.

try this....
But use the server address you have if not rockets.
Mag will connect. You just need to mess with it a little bit.
When you get to the progress bar loading , but does not load, just sits there and spins ... at this time use the GEAR button on your remote (the Setup button just below the Blue button). This will take you to the inner portal System Settings.
Then enter the Server menu option, then Portals and remove the http prefex
so it looks like this ...
11.iptvrocket.tv
Use the KB button for KeyBoard.
Then exit with the save function , the OK function.
Then back to System settings menu and Reboot Device. It should reboot back to that progress bar and trying to load but it prolly will not load.
Now go back in GEAR menu again and do everything the same but this time add back that http prefex.
so it looks like this...
http://11.iptvrocket.tv
-Do not forget to Reboot Device again.
This time it should connect, this one did.
iptvrocket was example server

Not home yet, but will try later.
I always used 11.iptvprivateserver.tv. Is that still correct?
What is iptv66?

Crazed: Thank you for taking the time to try and help me, but I did exactly as you suggested and I'm back where I started.
Is it supposed to ask for my username and password after each reboot?

yes it will ask after a reboot.
In a private message, send me the 16 digit Order number and the 12 or 13 digit donation or route number.
Also send me the MAC addy exactly as you have it.
