Hi Guys. I'm newbie to all this and asking for some support with Kodi on firestiick

I presume this is where I ask for support. I have a jailbroken firestick. I have Kodi on this wanting for use of movies, I've not changed any setting apart from connecting wifi, but when I click on a icon, e.g turks, phoenix etc I can't access anything. When I try to open anything the
messages I get are either :-

3 dots or if I click on a thumbnail of a film sometimes it will let me select a film but won't play or says error. It's driving me crazy, I was so looking forward to let my kiddies watch some movies and I paid quite a bit for this. I also brought a Android box but sent it back as I had the same problem :(

Any support would be very much appreciated :)

what version of Kodi do you have installed on it. You might have to update kodi for your addons to work properly.

unfortunately it sounds like you bought it of ebay or an acquaintance with all the stuff and addons on, advertised as a ultimate tv/movie stick, thinking you didn't have to set it up?
if so, such things does not last very long, you really have to know how to install and update kodi, and figure out which addons are good and you want to install, and which are non working anymore. if you bought it 'setup' you probably have tons of addons but none work?

this is just a guess from your wording.
