I realize that the service is a work in progress and there is a lot still going on behind the scenes. I also realize that network congestion and scheduled server maintenance can have an impact (such as the daily freezes at 7am pst which I presume are due to the server running a scheduled action of some sort).
With that said I must say that since the new security measures were put into place, when the service is working it's been working pretty well. The weekends have been much smoother than in the past, with far less freezing and frustration than we were all experiencing before.
My ultimate point here though is that I'm still experiencing more frequent freezing yesterday and today than I'd really expect. I've probably had to hit the ok button to try and reload the stream at least a dozen times in the past 4 hours.
Not a complaint, just an observation. Progress is being made, but we're not quite "there" yet.
Also, fwiw, more attention needs to be given to the guide please. The well documented time zone issue on some channels is a big one, but getting program info into the avov and mag guides should be made a priority as well. We spent good money on these stand alone boxes and at the end of the day the epg on them is complete garbage compared to the free kodi options. Thats not the fault of the box manufacturer, but the service provider, plain and simple. It would be awesome if those who can do something to improve the functionality would take the initiative to do so. I know that I for one would appreciate it.
(..and bring back Fox 5 NY! Lol)
