Well i have been frequenting this one auction site.. its a small one and is run by a real estate agency (National) and they auction your household/business contents for Estates and Downsizing etc..
Small means less people which means good deals sometimes.
For example just for fun I bought an item from a business going out of business.
I researched the item and saw them selling for $400-700 USD used on ebay.
I purchased it for $80 CDN and drove 2 hrs to pick it up. Lazy Saturday afternoon drive.
Tested it and listed it on Ebay for $450 USD. A month later it sold for $350 USD
Not a bad little profit.
I have a friend who is doing this for a living. He started off with small stuff like computers and game consoles and is now flipping boats and cars and motorhomes.

Site is mostly across Canada but there are some USA areas also.
If you buy you must Pick Up the item so you need to be close to the auction site.
There is lots of crap but a few gems in the mix too.
