KODI resolution program

My friend has a brand new KODI box that seems OK until you try to watch something, a small picture is displayed, I noticed that it's 1280 x 720 @50 and it needs to be set at 60 hz full screen but I don't see how to change it. I would appreciate some thoughts.

or try switching the resolution in the box settings it might be set to 720 not 1080
