How do I change the setting so that the video picture is always stretched out regardless channel being HD or SD? I have some channels that have the black on the side and other channels are stretched out..

While watching a video, go to the eyeball icon at the top of the screen - change view mode to 16:9 stretch... then go to the second last item on the list and select "set as default for all videos".
It seems many of the feeds were originally a 16:9 picture that's been squashed/distorted down to 4:3 for some reason. The above changes stretches it back out.

or you can go to system/video/playback then scroll down to display 4:3 as select 16:9 or hit z on your keyboard selects aspect ratio

I could never find an answer to the question - Why many people are too lazy to read the instructions that are written in the little booklet that accompanies MAG box and prefer someone else to do it for them?

Mr. XBMCBG , I guess I'm one of those so call lazy individuals who failed to realize that the change aspect ratio button is on the bottom left. I was given the MAG box without any booklet, so I thought I asked.
You should not assume things..
Thanks JoeSshmoe and SSHAKER
One other note -- check out channel 7782 WAPA - I am able to stretch and then it goes right back to 4:3 while viewing.
