In IPTV Talk News & Announcements in Sticky: IPTV Service HELP After UPDATE it says:
"5. For KODI users, getting Device ID Mismatch.
A) You must create the correct device id for your addon, this is a new security feature in order to prevent the extraction of our channels."...... and gives directions on how to do this.
As far as I can tell the statement A.) is either wrong or is not woriking. I use Kodi I have done none of this and can still watch channels. Someone that has the knowledge should create guides for each means of connecting, it is not possible to tell from reading the forum, even the stickies what works now or has been changed. Many of the explanations assume a certain level of experience and competence that many of us do not have. I understand that the administrators are very busy but the organization and proofing of the stickies needs to be improved.
