Something ain't right. I just got the fuse about 30min ago and when through setup and wifi says it's connected but I don't think it actually is.

Our computers at the house do this as well sometimes. They won't connect to Internet and we have to manually go in to connect.

Sometimes I'm on computer and while on a page I have to reconnect.

I have a shield and FireStick and neither have any issue ever connecting to internet.

When I Goto system update is says

OTA Update
No update image file
(Then I can click NO or YES)

Build is 1.0.9

Let me say I get around all these other devices very easily. I don't know what's going on here.

I'm not even there yet as it won't show the MAC. When j tired going to App Store there was nothing there as well then I asked it to find recommended and the circle thing kept spinning.

It just not connecting to the Internet even though it says it is. Does the Internet logo supposed to light up green?

I've restored to factory setting twice trying to get it to connect. Like I said it says it's connected but I don't think it is. My computer does this all the time. We have AT&T uverse and my download is 50. Both my shield and stick have never had issues connecting.

Yea I have an on top of that I'm very experienced with this stuff except for Avov/MAG.

I usually figure things out on my own.

Does the Internet little strength signal supposed to light up in green?

I expect this box have a Ethernet jack, how hard is it to plug it in and figure out if wifi is the problem?! x_O

i made this but real for all boxes
real ez first on your tv online plus box go to server setting click on it on top right is mac address write that down numbers will start with 00:1A:79 and three more numbers next you need to go where you got your rocket or nfps or iptv66 to change your mac address for rocket its this one https://papiao.is/main/search_rocket will ask you for your donation number thats 12 numbers rocket gave you and the numbers they show you to add click on it a box will come up and bottom you should see mac adress 00:00:00:00:00 will see a phras change mac address change that to your mac address that you wrote down click done or save should say successfull change your done with that part
now on tv-online plus in server setting must be in server setting click ok on the remote a box will come up now will see
server url add http://11.iptvrocket.tv/ this is for rocket only nfps or iptv66 has there own url
next
click use credentials
box will come up add your donation numbers to both for rocket its 12 donation number same as nfps but iptv66 has 13 donatio numbers
then click connect if you follow what i said for rocket you now have tv

if anyone see something wrong on this let me know and this is for rocket donation

I will do that in the morning but I don't have a 50ft ethernet cable.

There is a thread of ftazeta and it looks like AVOV realizes there are many that got the update on Dec21 that have a software issue. They are asking everyone to send these back to them. I bought from Amazon so I will be sending back to them. They actually refund me immedately when my UPS driver picks up my package.

If the box was manuf in Korea they can send firmware to fix...the other boxes can't be fixed that way. It's an issue with the Vixo2 and VixoFuse as far as I can see. The thread is closed now on ftazeta but there were quite a few having to send them back.

I would warn anyone from NOT purchasing the Vixo2 and VixoFuse boxes right now. Before i purchased I would email regarding this issue saying you only want a working box without the software issues

Also, I saw I believe a couple yesterday with same issue but didn't think much of it. Here is the link to ftazeta (http://ftazeta.com/avov/78553-avov-vixo-2-just-received-not-working.html) and their issue is exactly like the one I am having. I will try the ethernet in the morning though.

Im going to give it a shot tomorrow w/ ethernet cable and I've already emailed AVOV about the issue. It's either a software issue or on my end where my modem isn't letting it connect. you will find mac add in the server setup page,,,then you have to link the mac add on the checker site

Lol. Yosemite and asft. I've done all that. I'm not that uneducated. I've went to server setup, I've went to all of that.

Not sure why people think I'm stupid about this.

I've went to server setup about 100 times and pushed the button so hard on remote I've almost broke the remote.

I mean I've unplugged the modem and router, I've unplugged and did about 5 factory resets on the fuse box. I've went to server to try and get the MAC.

Not you Sam but the tone from asft was like I wasn't listening to the advice. I actually get asked a ton of stay daily on FB messenger as j help people all the time with KODI things.

Sent an email last night to Avov and they said they are aware of the problem but want me to open a support ticket which I am going to do after I install the Ethernet. I'll do that in the next 30min and see how that goes. I just got home and need to do a few things first with the family and then I will check the Ethernet around 4pm CST (-6 hours)

your wifi is connected ,i do not see purpose of ethernet..looks like you have issue with corrupted s/w .avov will get to it and fix it but may take a few days.

why i say that when you first start the box a brand new one you must load the wifi first to get it going on ethernet it should see it right away and load your updates look its a try if it dont work your not at a lost just need to send it back and im not talking about a version update like 1.0.9 but a box update for it to get going load channel store and few other things think 4 bars will come up and all must load

Just did the Ethernet and I could still get Browser. Under SystemInfo I hit the System Update and it brought up that silly box again saying OTA UPDATE

When I went to TvOnline server settings I will say this time when I pushed it you could tell it was trying to get info as the background music stopped and the icon box stayed like I had depressed it.

But still nothing. Nothing nothing nothing.

Avov has already acknowledged the problem. I can't believe they still had this box sent out with this build being defective.

Just tried it again after factory reset and still broken. Already sent my help ticket to AVOV.

If in my shoes would you just return this? I bought from Amazon and they will give me a full 100% refund the day the UPS driver picks up my package. Not the day they receive it but the day the driver picks it up.

I can have a TVOnline+ here overnighted in 1-day for just an extra $10.00

What would you suggest asft? Not sure I want to wait another week and how do I know they will even get it fixed??

It shows the symbol that it's connected via Ethernet cable.

The robrogs guy also had this problem but he never came back to the board.

I know but it's super hard to understand. I'm not a grammar police but can't tell when a thought stop and then another starts. I just asked for period and commas. I could care less about the rest.

leave that server settings menu and go into Live TV option.
Scroll to one of the Music Channels and hit OK
It should stay in that menu screen and a loading icon should appear in mid screen.
Does that happen ?

Now, I've had my Avov help ticket for a couple of days and I'm just waiting to here back.

I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and send this back through Amaxon now and get a TvOnline+ or wait for them to fix the Fuse.

I'm not sure they will be able to and not sure I want to wait.

Only thing I noticed that could be a factor is that you were clicking on the option too much. Just one click and you should hear the click noise then wait.
If it still does not change menus , then I would send it back , yes.
That Server Settings menu is the one you want to try and open up, which does not need the internet connection to open.

i do not know if there is a way to load any older file on the Fuse, I have not looked into that.

i had similar issue with another model avov ,server setting dissappeared ,i sent support ticket in and they were able to fix it with update ,it did take about same time as sending it back but it has been running since.

Yea I did all kind of scenarios crazed. That was about the 20th time I had clicked and tried to wait forever for things to come up. That was just one I did on video. Whatever you can imagine, I tried it LOL.

I spoke to another authorized dealer and right now they won't sell the VixoFuse of Vixo2. They said the latest Vixo2 has finally been fixed and right now they won't sell the Fuse because of all the problems that Avov is working through. Whenever Avov gets the new build working on the Fuse they will then start selling it.

A quick follow up for me:

First, enjoy your vacation asft. Sounds like your friends here sure are busting your chops.

Anyways, I'm still waiting to hear from Avov on my help ticket in regards to my Fuse. I have until March 7th to return to Amazon for full refund. My first thoughts are if they can fix it, then i think I will keep it.

In the meantime, I purchased a TvOnline+ and I'm up and running after adding my MAC device to my donation, then all I had to do was reset and I've got liveTv on the TVOnline+.
