HI I am trying to find out about IpTv, I asked a question in another group but had my hand slapped by the administrator for not being about the right subject!
I am new to Iptv and need a question answering can I talk freely about it here or is big brother going to send the goons to 'take me away' for asking questions?
You can start your own thread in an appropriate forum if you have a support question. All we ask is not to hijack a thread with an off topic comment, or with your own situation.
In your case, you started a topic that was closed by an Administrator, because it discussed other non-supported servers. If you are looking for a free ride for IPTV Service, you won't get that here. However, if you explore the Kodi discussion areas, you can find out about ways of getting live tv on free addons, and as long as they don't compete with the service, you can discuss them. Add-ons that take the streams generated by the service (called 'clones') are also not discussed here.

I am not looking for a free ride for anything I am looking for advice about a subject that at present I do not know much about. I don't even want to know how to get 'free addons' all I want to know is if someone is offering something can I expect it to work or is it a scam that will end in a couple of months time and see my money disappear with it?

as far as rocket nfps and iptv66.. if u buy direct it will not likely go down in a couple months. they have been runing the same servers for IKS for years. biggest in the game.... it could happen.. but unlilkely.. dont buy from a reseller buy direct. go through the forum and use the site search to find answers to your questions..

I'll give this a try ....there are several ways to get IPTV ...Standalone boxes - Mag and Avov
Emulators ...and through your computer with a program called Kodi (used to be called XBMC).
They wont spoon feed you here and shouldn't because you have to figure a lot of this yourself... I am no computer programmer but I did figure out how to install a file on a box and or change some settings... The only way I can explain it is if you think your going to get everything running 24/7 like a sat with all channels whatever the latest HD is well you better stick to sat or cable but if you want to cut the cord save some money or get a cheaper sat package and add this for extra then go for it
You can Google a lot of the terms and that will help you
Goodluck
