I've had nothing but buffering issues all day. First 5 seconds is fine when channel loads then its constantly buffering and not even watchable. They need to fix this.

That was pretty funny. Buffering here in South Florida also. But this one I know the moderators can't help with, but as all issues its good that we mention it in this forum so others are aware that it's not only happening to us individually. Moderators have been hammered the last few days, and on this one we can only make them aware so they can advice others in charge, that is if only they have that kind of open communication with the phantoms who run this operation. BuBuBuBuBubuffering sux.

Well they said it before that on weekends and pm rush hour would be affected more, but that was before the transition, this should have solved all the buffering issues, since all of us are paid donations.

The service had been almost perfect for two months!!!!!!! Just when I thought they were making progress we take 10 steps back. I know, I know, be patient give it time they are working on it. We go to password access which I understand why but after the switch the whole system goes backwards! Are you kidding me!!!! Tonight (for me) most all of the channels are freezing if they aren't down already. Ok I'm done ranting.

A lot better compared to what? There is absolutely no excuse for regressing in the quality of service to this degree. Any issues in switching to password access should have been forseen. Assuming that is what is causing the service to degrade. ASFT I'm glad your service is improving many are not. Have a great evening :).

Using gbox Q with iptv stalker... yesterday it was watchable but all today all I get is constant buffer. But on the bright side I fixed my authentication problem :)

It's been going on for a few hours now. Strange especially since buffering hasn't really been a main issue for a while. Not that I'm happy that you are getting buffering, but I know it's just not me so I can stop on trying to correct the issue on my own.

wont help on the issues we been seeing the last 12-16 hours.. they are likely fixing the user panels, avov, emu, mac address issues and so on, and their work apparently influence streams of the channels. come on guys first you are complaining that you cant change mac address donations getting mixed up, a new iptv reset button that didn't seem to work yet, new way to login, etc, etc.. then when you get on you complain about the last 12-16 hours of instability in the streams. do you really think they can fix all this with a whip of a magic stick? without influencing some stability.

I worked as a system administrator nearly all my life, and its really incredible how ppl can complain when you are trying to better the system for the users and some hiccups that you never would have forseen yourself popup.. do you guys really think sysops do all this to make the system worse in the end.. its a really unthankful job and very demoralizing when you try to fix all the issues that where not expected and make it better for everyone when finished.

anyway.., the freezing has stopped now.. at least here.

YES n the understanding that we were all sold lime for oranges so take the bitter with the little sweet, even though i give my fellow forum member the benefit of the doubt that we all have and had sense to know what we getting ourselves into when we venture down this road i think someone somewhere pulled the cloak over our eyes from day one while they raided our pockets. Cry all we want for the small or large funds we said we paid, being a customer exec i know that with this service that we have and are constantly receiving, if we had a customer affairs commission to call apart from the moderators, law suits would be flying left right and center. I guess it shame on us to be expecting more for the little many say we have paid for what we are getting so suck it up to value for your small mones. I have turned off the mag box since the password entry cause every station except youtube freezes, glitches, stop and the video movies run for awhile then clunk out and go back to the listing more times than i care to mentions so that i leave for better days

Well at least I can log in now. Im sure their working on the servers. Maybe it will get fixed soon. Right now its unwatchable.

Give the admins time to to fix the issues. This was a major update but will be better for all of us in the long run.
I am sure there is still some tweaking to do. I also have experienced the freezes and buffering on multiple
channels but have also noticed that the quality of most channels is much better.

Still buffering here too. Every time thy update the system it gets worse and worse. The system ran so much better when it was free. That was September. Since then when they make changes the system gets worse. First the get rid of VOD and ppv, then they down grade video, and now it buffers so badly it is un watchable. Their only reply is working on it please wait. No other info than that.

The price goes up and the quality goes down.

With the amount of money they have received they could install servers in every country in the world, and still have money left over for a private jet. This BS about them working on it is totally crap. They could have hired half the graduating class of MIT. Instead they treat us paying customers/donators like mushrooms. Keep us in the dark, and feed us crap.

P.S A friend tried to renew a donation 10 days ago, and still no email/working account. They cant even take your money with out issue.

I have been a loyal customer for 8 years. When my donation runs out so will I if they cant fix something/anything.

Nothing working today, cannot get any solid streaming for more than 5 seconds, and then becomes choppy and un-watchable. So going to have to agree with a few other folks, that when the service was free there was a great viewing experience. Since the transition, and with all updates and processes implemented the experience has been at best a part time viewing experience. When I say part time, let's give an estimate of 30%. It was unfortunate the the free experience was so good, it lead myself personally to believe that this was going to be a premium service.

At this point, all I would suggest to all who plan on gaining the service, is to do a LOT of homework, and buyer beware.

Very well said. Very unfortunate, cause the potential for being a great service is there. But the issues have been going on since November, and I keep hearing when it's all set it will be great. But the problem is when will that be. I think all these changes where implemented because of 2 or 3 idiots and their Stalker Clones. I think they should have just eaten the lost of a few grabbing the service for free, than trying all these new implementations that just aren't working. I still have 9 months on my subsribtion, so I have no choice but to hope. Granted, not a lot of money, but there is something about not getting exactly what u think your paying for. I do feel for the moderators trying to assist, but I can't understand why none of them don't have a direct link of communication to the ghosts who run the service. Seems they have to figure out things on their own as they arise.

Well, I guess I need not worry about tweaking my kodi just yet. Donated for a year, worked fine for first few days, then I tried to fix my guide (in UK and 1 hour out so changed to diff URL) and now I can't get the EPG to work at all, and I switch on this eve and weird buffering thing. I feel better knowing that there's a general issue. This is why we have forums :)

ASFT Moderator: Easy there sparky. I am going to hang in there because I think the service will eventually be worth it. As I mentioned, I support the moderators and all they are trying to do in helping each and every person. Just try and understand a little from the consumer side of things. Look, for the price and what you get, I don't think you can go wrong with this service. It's just been a little frustrating, that's all. I know you guys are in a tuff position. It's just been a rough couple of months that's all. I have convinced people to subscribe to monthlys, but you can understand considering the service lately, it's been a bit of a wash. Still think there is nothing like it out there right now. Especially for the price. I'm with you champ. No worries.

More likely it is a Denial Of Service or DDOS attack coming from one of the providers (Dish, DTV, SKY etc) or an envious competitor who now does not have access and therefore can no longer leach, due to the user/pswd implementation.

Locating the culprit is gonna be a problem and even if you do find out who it is, what can they do?? complain to the authorities... I doubt.

IKS guys have had ECM's for years and just have to live with it. Don't forget it's SuperBowl weekend which is a prime target.

No not really but it would have been better to delay a wide distribution and do a small scale test with live users and not in some lab somewhere.

believe me you can do all your small scale tests, but when the big upgrade new login implementation day comes things always behave differently than in a small freshly installed closed network where you can only come up with half the things that possibly can go wrong and needs to be tested first. :) the communications could maybe have be better, that would probably help I dunno. I know they are working on the servers again coz the streams are freezing like hell and channel changing is slow, so they are not done yet. :)

edit: I also considered the DDOS scenario and could be plausible too, only I think the DDOS comes from lame kiddies who are mad their stalker clones does not work anymore and sites that used to sell this service as their own.

Update: Situation is even worse. Before, we could watch the channels but they had buffer issue, now it is not possible to watch anything because it appears an error that says Failed to get stream URL when trying to open any item. It is completely screwed.

I woudn't call this envious. Envious would be if your competitor is making a killing in a legal way...
Dish and other legitimate providers have to pay billions of dollar for the rights to stream the shows. IPTV doesn't , which makes it impossible for them to compete and illegal. The truth is that as soon as law is passed , which eventually will, this service will shot down and more legitimate providers will pop up., but expect to pay much more for legitimate service.

couldnt watch hardly any thing most of the week...was completely unwatchable all this weekend on every channel...had to watch superbowl on kodi addon rather than this paid service...about halftime during the superbowl saw a mod on zeta forum who posted things were running again..so switched back over and lo and behold..seems to be smooth running again on Mag254....how long it lasts is still to be seen (keeping fingers crossed,rabbits foot in pocket) seems when its running good..its running real good..and when its bad..its very bad..no inbetweens.
