I prefer the AVOV TVonline, but I will say as of today, Sunday 17 of May. The Mag254 has it for the guide. The mag has a partial guide for US channels but the AVOV does not.

I don't have either box to test "yet".. But avov looks like easier setup... But mag 254 has the guide

Yes EPG is working on live channels.(Avov TVOnline)
Limited at this time but a great improvement.:)

No drive needed programs are stored up in the heavens and are streamed down by the magic of internet.

Yes TV-Online box has App options such as Icefilms--1Channel Netflix ..ECT ........besides live channels and Vod.........

Well, I solved my problem. I take note of the other servers instead of the "1." and have tried them. I was on another server. When I changed back to the "1." it started giving the guide, but is a lot less stable and not as many of my favorite channels will play, unless they are having troubles on the server end. In any case I guess I have to weigh in on what I want, guide or stability.

You don't seem to get a guide with other servers. Just with the 1. server. This is a bit disappointing. A zillion channels with no guide is kind of difficult.

I been testing both of those boxes and I think both of them are fantastic unit, it's just a matter of knowing how to properly operate the two systems.

TVOnline has the best what? You do not get a guide for many of the services I have tried with the Avov TVOnline. Is there a way of forcing a guide to appear with the Avov TVOnline? I am not referring to using it with the 1.server for which it has a guide. Just other services.

True. I was talking about other iptv sources. There doesn't seem to be guides with many of those compared to the Mag 25x. This may just be temporary or perhaps it is my mistake. The 1.iptvprivateserver.tv does give you a guide. It has few HD channels though. I am not the only person to point this out. Still think the Avov box is very good. Just pointing out the tradeoffs.

Having both boxes it's hard to say which is better, personally I like the picture that the MAG 254 puts out but both are fine boxes.

I have Mag254 for a while and it works great.Got a Avov TvOnline a couple of days ago and it has good apps but the remote freezes a lot and it is a pain.

see the mag is to dang slow for me and the interface is not as good as avov and i luv kodi on it forget the iptv stalker on this box dont need it

I would have to go with the Avov Online although I'd suggest you compare Avov Online, Avov 1 and the latest model Avov 2 before making which Avov to buy.

I´m new to IPTV, used to have FTA years ago.
I was about to buy a MAG254, but out of the sudden came across with AVOV, and it does seem to have better hardware than the MAG.}

I also can note that there´s tons of suppliers that work with MAG, which is not the case with AVOV.

All in all, I´d like to know your opinion on wether to buy an AVOV tvonline+ or MAG254?

I also was told that besides IKS service and VOD, there are tens of thousands movie titles available for free in AVOV. Is this true?

Is it easy to configure it?

Can you recommend IKS provider, that has great reliability, support, and huge content?

it is much easier to set a avov than a mag,it has more options and applications that can be nice if servers are down,like kodi as an example.
