My mag254 is down and only goes to blue screen and doesnt load anything or give any error messages

This work for me. My mag254 after the update (password and ......) only gave me 20% of the loading bar.
After a lot of reading I did this: GO to setting
GO to software update
Here you will find the way to upgrade you mag.
Follow instruction to automatic upgrade ( r14 )
Keep the download method in HTTP
