I have set up two groups in the Channel Manager. Group 0 contains all channels I am not interested in.The channel and the Guide are de-activated in the Channel Manager for these channels.
Group 1 contains all active channels I am interested in. I noticed, that at startup, both Groups of channels all get loaded. I thought that de-activating a channel would keep it
from loading, and shorten up the channel load time. De-activated channels load anyway. I am thinking about deleting Group 0 (inactive channels), to shorten the load time. If I delete
a Group of channels, is the delete permanent??? Can a deleted group of channels be recovered at a later date if needed?
