version 7.1 keep asking authentication info

I tried yesterday morning and it worked, but it asked me to put id and password again.
Not only mine is doing the same my buddy's android box did the same thing.
I don't know if it is the server is not fully up or just few boxes having the problem.

Does anyone have this issue?

having it today, change to new mac address, now i get a user id and password screen (never had that before) so i input donation # for both and
just get error. brand new mac so I can't believe I'd have to reset it already. but with all the changes going on, who knows.
