My first year of rocket has run out so I bought another one. When i try to link my mac address to my new rocket, it says that the mac address already exists. How should I go about adding my mac address to my new rocket?

wow should have put the old one to all zeros before it expired see if you can change that still
Do a check of your old donation then change the last 4 numbers/letters to 0's and update. If you see a green banner that you had success then you can now link to the new donation.

Thanks for the reply. I searched for my old rocket and the mac address is showing as all 0s even though i didnt change it myself. I do not have the options to change the mac address or port either like i do with my new rocket

its always better to renew imho you can even renew it if it has expired within 30days, I suppose you bought a new sub already so that's not an option.
you do not by new sub every month/yeah for cable, sat, amazon, netflix, or anything else its usually automatically renewed if you choose to.
keep your first order, donation, and email used in a txt file, it is easy to make backups to flashdrive, ext hd, other computers, cloud or whatever, and you can add other handy stuff like epg links, full portal urls etc so you do not have to dig through the forum when needed. if you only find a old copy somewhere its still ok coz the most important stuff is static.
but that's just my humble suggestion to make things easier. and its always easy to be "back smart"
that being said your mac will clear at some point.
