Exactly what MAC address do I link

After reading numerous posts...it doesn't seem to be clear to me if the MAC address to register on PAPIAO is my AVOV+ MAC number starting with:

00:1A:78:xx:xx:xx (xx being the last 6 alphanumeric numbers of my real MAC addy)

OR

xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (xx being the real MAC addy of the AVOV+ box)

I can tell you that my real MAC address does NOT link to PAPIAO WHY?; however, the one that starts with 00:1A:78 ... links just fine.

That being said, the MAC address accepted by PAPIAO, seems to cause me an issue connecting to IPTV ROCKET server. The AVOV keeps popping my credentials when trying to log to the http://11.iptvrocket.tv server and not accepting them. I know my donation code is correct in both the USER and PW box.

The Mac Address that's on the Android box is what you would input on Papiao.

However, I know what is the MAC; then why does PAPIAO not accept the real MAC addy? it is not telling me it is in USE. It`s just telling me it can not be loaded.
I have entered the MAC with both capital and small letters.

I also sent an email to PAPIAO but never got a response.

Did you enter it this way 00:00:00 and the mac address can be found in the TVonline settings, top right hand of the page you will see the MAC Address

It's telling me my MAC could not be updated.

All this time I though you had to add the AVOV+ real MAC address. Never realized the value of the MAC address on the top right hand which indeed started with 00:1A:78:xx:xx:xx

It appears that others are having the same issue.

For the AVOV Online+ (and any of the other AVOVs), the MAC that you use is the one that appears on the Server page in the top right corner. It will start with 00:1A:79. Do not use the actual MAC for the device, or one that you make up on your own.

I think this is the first read where such information is REALLY clear. Almost worth a sticky for us newbies.

I am convinced that alot of PW and User login problems are because we do not have the proper MAC address tied to the donation.

What is the difference between my #4 post and Dara's? That's what I told you to use as the MAC Address.

Well theone, you were exactly correct and it worked like a charm. so bottom line the MAC addy has nothing really to do with my box nor the one recommended in the Stalker addon. Thank you!!!!!!
