I just rebooted my MAG, and the Login/Password authentication popped up. I entered my donation number, and all is well.

mouse doesn't do it - keyboard ENTER key doesn't do it. How do I click the OK button??

I just used the remote on 3 mags to enter and worked great ( don't use keyboard )

I received an image by text from a friend, I'm told that it is working on his MAG 254, although the way the username/password box appears is different from the last time I saw it (individual boxes), the premise is still the same.

The moment you receive an "Authentication Problem" in a red box at the top in the center of your screen be prepared to enter your username/password again upon start up.

Reboot your mag, box will pop up enter donation #,s hit ok or done. Takes about 20 seconds to load up.

I recommend searching you donation number up, and re-link your MAC and try again. If you have multiple donation numbers you need to use the one that your MAC is assigned to.

I offer you the same advice as I gave to NAUDITOR, re-link your MAC and try again. I did hear there were some problems but they are working to fix those problems.

ok, I got it, had to imput with the remote, move to the next line with the key board, use the remote to click ok, went to the full yellow bar, forever, rebooted the box, and it went right in and is working fine

Its working now after i did it with the remote and made sure donation matched mac but the freezing is still here in jamdown like the northpole please wipe off all and have the entire watching public enter this thing to clear traffic

I tell you my case the authentication popped up 1st feb. Put in don.# and worked first time now i go and turn on stb and authentication has popped up again 2nd feb. and now i have been putting the don# in again for the past hour without any success after working yesterday need some help,thanks.

i still here mags are having problems with the mac address so even if you get the password and user name right there maybe still a problem there is still a problem with the Mac addresses on the Mags and NFPS is aware and working on a fix

LIT FUSE.........call it dancing with a lit fuse in my hand and the box is gonna blow up and prove me right that it and the servers are crap or the better quality viewing that i am having since the password entry is the signs of a brighter day and the unit and servers will finally get some praise from me but so far viewing of the channels is going good not perfect but promisingly good

What if you don't know your donation number and only have a macaddress can you use the macaddress as a user/password

I been getting the same issue as some of yous.

I ensured my MAC was correctly linked at iks66 website.
Then booted up the Mag254 and it goes to the Authentication screen. I enter my route correctly and hit OK and I get the Error message in top right corner of that Authentication window.
Also, I had to use the Home button on the remote to save and exit each line (Login and Password lines).

Tried a few times but with no better results.
I will retry a few more times.

I got this Mag254 working finally. It is on Rocket thou.
I had my iks66 tied up on another working box and so with lots of messsing around , the Mag finally started to load and show the yellow bar... but sure taking a long time. It is at about 80% and looks like it is stuck there.
May have to reboot again... grrrr :eek:

Worked like a charm the very first time. My donation number is 12 digits after unplugging the box and plugging the power back I added that 12 digit number into both the username and password box then pressed the OK button and it loaded up with out issues, not sure if this needs to be done each time box is rebooted.

I have two mag 254 boxes onemy other with the donation i knoew and it worked right when i put in donation. i lost the donation for the other box so bought new one. i linked mac to donation but still gives error. not sure why they had me change the server and portal but still just error. how do you wipe it clean and start over and where are the factory files? Code checker is down now too
