re-edit: It has something to do with the s/w decoding. If another video is started on a browser, the video comes in. Strange.

My guess would be the source. First channels or packages added are probably the easiest to get- the harder will come as gradually. Just a guess though

I don't think many people really understand the magnitude of what is being attempted by this IPTV effort. While it isn't exactly Netflix in scope, they are doing the live TV thing and serving it to unknown tens of thousands of simultaneous hungry viewers, along with the VoD movies. And of course during this free 'test' period, there will probably be more folks connecting than have IKS acct privileges as the word spreads it is "free".

So yea, I would like to see those 600+ channels as well as others, but when I consider this is really a "first of" in this game, it points to the reality of the work needed to make it all happen! I am already impressed...:)

What is or was ridiculous is or are Miami locals, when you have NY locals. That's 2 Eastern Feeds from the networks, so same shows are being shown at same time. Get a Western Feed either from Seattle, LA or San Francisco. Then it wouldn't be such a waste of bandwidth. Also HD channels only, SD channels look really bad on IPTV. imo. Sentanta is a nice add.

I looking to ditch my dish, as I'm going to have to move it this summer (construction project) or just drop it completely and I'm hoping this service becomes good enough for me to drop Satellite TV.

Did you change the last two MAC Address numbers with number 0-9 or A-F? And check that the server is correct. I think only when the server is connected that you will see The TV option on the with the others.

I like you don't care for Adult Channels but there are a lot that watch it and like it so it would not be fair to remove anything, let everyone watch what they like and we can all be happy. Since channels are not limited in numbers/space, I am pretty sure your's will be added as well so just hang on for now and enjoy the ride

Not everyone is interested in sports either. But I do agree that filling those spots with adult channel and music channel links from the net is not doing the server any good. A variety of popular channels would be best even if we're in test mode right now. Also most channels should be hosted locally not remotely.

It's a test period! Give them a break and a chance. You're not paying anything right now. If you really need the MLB channel, go with IKS or get a subscription!
